The most popular online topic among Apple fans is the iPhone 5 release date which is getting more news and rumours from day to day. But with an overall look at the current news being shared online I can say that regardless of which website is saying what, the iPhone 5 release date is getting very close, probably a few weeks ahead.
A lot of respected sources online now confirming that Apple will release iPhone 5 on Friday, 7th October 2011. A website owned by Intel named 9To5Mac.com said that Apple had been preparing either October 7 or October 14 as potential iPhone 5 release dates in UK and US. But with production apparently running smoothly, the site says, Apple has opted for the earlier date, with pre-orders beginning one week in advance on September 30.
On another side, a few reports say that Apple will launch two phones, the new and improved iPhone 5 and a less-expensive iPhone 4S, which may even tap into the iCloud service to provide cloud-based storage. However this can be doubted but the month of October is highly and strongly suggested to be the Release date for iPhone 5.
Also an AT&T executive has confirmed that iPhone 5 will launch in early October and warned his employees to expect things to get busy in the next few weeks. And it is good to mention that the three carriers that confirmed to distribute iPhone 5 once released are Verizon, AT&T and Sprint.
The upcoming next generation iPhone 5 is expected to get A5 dual-core processor, 8MP camera, HD video recording abilities, and a larger 4.0″ display and most likely iPhone 5 will be running the latest iOS 5.
With that being said, I would like to remind you guys that the final word regarding iPhone 5 release date is still for Apple Inc. whom didn’t confirm or announce any specific date yet.

Orange shop in northwest uk says iPhone 5 will be released in February 2012, said they knew because they were in the industry. They also confirmed that orange will get the iPhone for the uk.
O2 told me on YESTERDAY (31st August 2011) that the iPhone is expected in their shops in 3-4 weeks!

Just received my iphone 5 direct from my uncle who works in US for Apple. It doesn’t live up to the hype, its what the iphone 4 should of been (no bugs). I think the new Android phones will leave it standing.
